Direct sow 2 to 4 weeks after average last frost, 1/4", when soil temperature is above 70°F.
Early start: Germinate indoors 8 to 10 weeks before transplanting. Perfect soil temperature for germination is 80‒87°F. seeds will germinate in 10 days. Transplant seedlings outside 2 to 4 weeks after average last frost, and when daytime temperatures are at least 70°F, and nighttime temperatures are at least 60°F.
Pick peppers when green, purple, or red.
