We are pulling from a patch that has multiple varieties. The predominant variety is Jewel.

Rich, black-raspberry flavor. High-quality fruit is perfect for fresh-eating, making pies, and preserves. Bristol x Dundee cross. The sturdy and reliable canes produce big harvests — so plan to share or freeze the bounty. Ripens in early July. Self-pollinating. A licensed variety of Cornell University.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Dig a hole or furrow large enough to fit all the roots but do not plant them too deeply: raspberries prefer to have shallow root systems, and also will not tolerate water pooling around the crown. After planting, cut the canes back to five to six inches above the ground.
